Dr. Courtney Carr graduated with honors from Texas State University before completing her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.

Dr. Carr always had a calling for helping and healing. Early on, she was torn between helping animals or people, and she chose people. In college, Dr. Carr began her pursuit of a medical degree and was the President of the Pre-Medical and Dental Society. Her love to help others led her to attend medical mission trips in both South Texas and Mexico In addition to serving others, Dr. Carr always had a passion for art and creativity, and in fact minored in digital photography. Over time, she started to search for a way to utilize her unique skill-set in her pursuit of helping others. Encouraged by her college advisor, she began to explore dentistry and participated in a dental mission trip where she was instantly drawn toward the profession; Dr. Carr re-routed her college education and directed her senior year to gaining admission into dental school. Grateful to have truly found her passion in comprehensive and cosmetic dentistry.

Committed to delivering exceptional patient care, Dr. Carr continually enhances her skills through advanced education. She participates in programs with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Kois Center of Education, Academy of General Dentistry and Spear Education. Dr. Carr integrates the latest technology and innovations to ensure her patients receive the best care possible.

Understanding that dental health goes beyond teeth, Dr. Carr will take a comprehensive approach to addressing your bite and jaw alignment and will provide you with insight and education about your oral wellness. By focusing on your unique needs and goals, Dr. Carr will help you achieve a smile that is naturally beautiful and long-lasting.

Outside the office, Dr. Carr is an outdoor enthusiast. You can find her mountain biking, rock climbing, skiing on the slopes or rafting on the river. She also enjoys spending quality time on family adventures.
